FAUBAI annual conference attracts a large German delegation

The Brazilian Association for International Education, FAUBAI, held its 36th conference at the end of April in São Paulo.  The organisation, which brings together executives and heads of international affairs from Brazilian higher education institutions, also opens its conference to foreign participants.

Brazilian Centre participates in Argentinian conference on internationalisation

At the end of March 2024, with the aim of bringing institutions closer to other Latin American countries, the Scientific Director of the Brazil Centre, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernd Hellingrath, and the Director of the São Paulo Office, Laura Redondo, took part in the conference "The challenges of the university system and internationalisation", held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

EdTech hackathon winning team visits German universities

The winning team of the 2nd German-Brazilian EdTech Hackathon, held in 2023 in São Paulo, received a 2,000 euro travel grant to enable one of its members to travel to Germany. The purpose of the trip was to visit the organising universities - the University of Münster, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Free University of Berlin - as well as their start-up and incubator support and acceleration centres.

GLOSUS PROJECT: Unveiling Sustainability's Local Realities

The GLOSUS project – "The Global Geographies of Sustainability: Local Knowledge, Everyday Practices, and non-professional Forms of Living and Housing" is an initiative funded by DAAD and CAPES, which marks a very significant collaboration between the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP) and the Institute of Geography at the University of Münster (UM).
