On 26.4.2023, the ceremonial graduation of the candidates of the 2nd State Examination in Pharmacy took place at the PharmaCampus of the University of Münster. 48 students (group photo) successfully passed the state examination this spring.

In addition to introductory words by Prof. Hensel and the greeting by the Dean of Studies, Prof. Mootz, the event was accompanied by the student speech by Yoanna Bayram, who gave a brief insight into the challenges and successes of the last four years. The graduation ceremony was completed by the keynote speech by Prof. Langer on the topic of "Pharmacy - Science al dente", who illustrated the versatility of pharmacy to both students and their relatives using real-life practical examples. The lectures were musically framed by jazz music from Thilo Schmidt and Lucas Langbehn. With an outstanding performance in the state examination, student Kerstin Koukal achieved the best grade of 1.0 and was awarded the Foundation Prize of the Westphalia-Lippe Chamber of Pharmacists for this, which was presented to her on behalf of Mrs Potthast.

Following the ceremony, there was a champagne reception for all participants, which was organised by the Pharmacy Student Council.

We congratulate all graduates on passing the state examination and wish them every success in their pharmacy internship and for their future careers!
