Also this year the evaluation award "Golden Spatula" has been awarded by the "Fachschaft Pharmazie" during the 19th PharMSchool Symposium (16.06.2023).
The laudation states:
"First of all, we would like to thank all the teachers of the PharmaCampus for your dedication to the students. Without your everyday efforts, none of us would be able to successfully complete our studies and start working as a licensed pharmacist.
Fortunately, two lecturers were able to distinguish themselves in a special way:
First of all, we would like to thank Dr. Fabian Herrmann for his authentic manner, which he always incorporates into his dynamically appealing lecture and teaching style. The integrated anecdotes and field reports provide valuable insights into the later practical activities of a pharmacist. At the same time, he always lends an open ear to students and thus stands out due to his outstanding closeness to students. We would like to thank him for his work and hope for many more years together at the PharmaCampus!
Congratulations to 2nd place!
We would like to congratulate our third award winner, Prof. Dr. Marcel Bermúdez. Last year he was already able to achieve 2nd place, this year we congratulate him on a well-deserved 1st place!
He deserves a lot of credit for the steadily recognizable commitment to the students over the past two years, the representation of and interest in the wishes and suggestions of the student body, and the strengthening of an open channel of communication. In terms of teaching, he also manages to summarize the important information of complex topics in a bundled and clear manner, while at the same time incorporating current scientific knowledge into the lecture content in a suitable form. The teaching is always done in an excellent way and reflects the current state of science. An implementation of interactive elements supports the understanding of the learned content. Prof. Bermúdez is a great asset to the PharmaCampus. We hope that he will stay with us as well as the following students for a long time! Our warmest congratulations for 1st place of the golden spatula!"
